A winter holiday at Landhotel Albers is pure romance: thick snowflakes fall silently, ice crystals glisten on the windows and the forests sink into a sea of white. When snow has fallen, no one in Bödefeld stays indoors. There is too much to experience in the white splendour: leisurely snow walks and long winter hikes over the heights with a view of the snow-covered villages, tobogganing fun on the slopes and, of course, rapid descents on skis or snowboards.
Only a few metres away from our hotel is the valley station of the Hunau lift. The skiing area around our home Bödefeld is one of the most beautiful in the Sauerland and is located between Schmallenberg and Winterberg. Easy to moderately difficult, well-prepared ski slopes await our guests. Athletes can let off steam there until late at night. Because in the middle of the idyllic Nasse Wiese nature reserve, the longest floodlit slope in the Sauerland has been created at an altitude of 819 metres.
Of course, it's not only experts who are in demand here: well-trained ski instructors are on hand to help our guests with their first steps or technical fine-tuning in a ski school. The use of a total of twelve snow cannons and nine snow lances guarantees winter fun on the slopes.
For cross-country skiers, there are also kilometre-long trails. The trails criss-cross the most beautiful corners of the Schmallenberg Sauerland. Of course, after all the winter sports, you can't miss a good snowball fight. Because: winter fun knows no age limits.
In the evening, you can round off your unforgettable winter day in our cosy restaurant and indulge in culinary delights to your heart's content. Back in your cosy hotel room, snuggle up in a warm blanket, watch the snow drift outside the window for a while and sink into peaceful winter dreams.
