The Landhotel Albers has been awarded the certificate for assured sustainability of the German Institute for Sustainability and Economy awarded to the hotel.
We are very pleased that we have been able to combine ecology, economy and social responsibility in our hotel and have received the seal of approval for the year 2022. As a sustainable business, we are thus making our contribution to a better future with full conviction.
For the majority of the handicraft work in the hotel and restaurant, companies are hired directly from the village. These include, for example, the blacksmith, the sanitary company, the carpenter, the painter, the tiler, the construction company and the electrical engineer.
We source many of our foods directly from the village or from suppliers in the region. This means that guests can also see the quality and freshness for themselves on site at the producer's.
The baked goods come fresh daily from baker Timo Hennecke, butcher Stefan Gierse supplies the meat products for the restaurant and hotel. The honey is produced by beekeeper Hermann-Josef Albers himself. The potatoes for the dishes in the restaurant come from farmer Stefan Löffler and the vegetables are delivered fresh from the local vegetable supplier. We get the beer directly from the local brewery Warsteiner in Warstein.
In order to save electricity, a heat recovery system was integrated into the heating system of the swimming pool.
By sourcing regional products and services, Landhotel Albers has short delivery routes and can guarantee the quality of the products.
